Meghalaya Power Minister James Sangma’s convoy met with an accident near Nonoi in Assam’s Nagaon district on Sunday.

The accident took place in Nonoi area of Nagaon district when the convoy of the Meghalaya power minister was returning from Imphal to Shillong. The pilot car hit a standing truck from behind. Nagaon Police arranged an alternative pilot car and James Sangma left for Shillong

At least four police personnel were injured in the accident and were rushed to Nagaon civil hospital. However James Sangma escaped unhurt in the accident.
