All  Durga Puja Committees have decided to have a low key puja celebrations this year.   Some of the puja Committees are performed only &#8216;Ghot Puha&#8217;.  Most of the puja Committees have  reduced the size of the idol by around 50%.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Assam Government has issued guidelines to cut short the celebration to prevent COVID-19 infection.  Many committees in Guwahati which organize  Durga Puja every year in a grand way are celebrating a low-key puja. In some of the Puja Pandals in Chandmari Silpukhuri, Maligaon, the celebration  was restrained to only religious rituals this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The footfalls in most of the Puja Pandals was around 75% less than last year.
