Guwahati : Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said in a press conference on Saturday that Educatinal institutions in the state, which have been closed since the lockdown was imposed in the month of March, will reopen from November 2 with strict compliance of Covid protocols.

Educational institutions will reopen for students from class six to the postgraduate level with certain restrictions and Covid 19 protocols in place, he said. Schools will, however, remain closed for students up to class five.
