Rekha Gupta is set to assume office as Delhi’s new Chief Minister, with Parvesh Verma as her Deputy. The new leadership under Rekha Gupta and Parvesh Verma is poised to address the challenges facing the capital and implement their vision for its development.
In the recent Delhi Assembly elections, Rekha Gupta  won the Shalimar Bagh constituency, defeating Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Bandana Kumari by a margin of 29,595 votes. Parvesh Verma on the other hand gained attention by defeating incumbent Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi Assembly constituency by a margin of 4,089 votes.
