The Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra which was closed for visitors in view of the anti-CAA protests and COVID-19 pandemic opened today for visitors on the occasion of its 23rd foundation day.

Commemorating the 23rd Foundation Day of Srimanta Sankardev Kalakhetra, CM Shri Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated 14 high mast lights meant to brightly illuminate the Kalakshetra premises , enhanced seating capacity of Rangghar Bakori, an infrmation booklet & new website of the cultural institute

Every year Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra organises cultural activities during New Year. From 2021, the programmes on folk cultures of different communities of Assam will also be organised every Sunday.
